Did you know our pets can have anaphylactic reactions just like humans? ‼️ The most common cause is bee stings. 🐝 This time of year, yellow jacket nests are very active in the ground - this is where our pets come in contact with them! That is exactly what happened to this sweet pup named Theo. He was walking with his family in Jackson Park when he stumbled across a nest and got stung several times! His parents called us, and we were able to provide him treatment quickly! 🏥
If your pet gets stung by a bee, monitor them for signs of facial swelling, hives, pale gums and collapse, if any of these signs occur call us right away! ☎️
