Groomer evolution story: When I first started grooming 100 years ago, I left all ears and tails long (except for specific breed cuts). I’m not sure why I thought length was always the goal 🤔 Over time and with continued education, I have changed my beliefs and encourage clients to try different lengths - sometimes the result is cuter than you can ever imagine!
Here is an example of Luca, groomed by Kaytee with adorable short ears.

Our very own Heather isn’t one to make a big deal of things but I think there are lots of people out there who would love to wish her Happy Birthday (or book their lucky pet in for grooming with her on Monday 😉)

As I mentioned in a previous post, pet grooming has predictable busy seasons as well as quieter times.
This means that *sometimes* we can accommodate last minute appointments but when we are at a high demand point (think Spring & before holidays) we can get booked up even a month in advance.
There are 10 amazing groomers who work at PSBB & some have been here for 15+ years! While all of us are experienced and trained, each has our own style, breed strengths and techniques much like human hair stylists.
This message is a PSA for our clients. If you find a groomer that you and your pet LOVE, plan ahead & book with them so you know what to expect.
Our 24 hour post groom satisfaction guarantee cannot include stylistic differences because while no two dogs are exactly the same, no two groomers are either!

Before anyone gets their fur in a bunch, I want to say - we love dogs and cats in all sizes but due to groomer weight restrictions and physical space limitations, we can accommodate some small or medium fluffs onto our schedule. We want clients who care about their pets’ health and wellbeing and understand that regular grooming is important for them to feel their best!

Steph sent me a actual nice picture of a dog she groomed (this was more like the content I was imagining 😂). This is Alfie and he is adorable. Please note that we are currently accepting select new clients for a limited time. Give us a call to schedule your furry friend.

The pet grooming biz has predictable busy and slow times, so a couple times a year we open our clientele to welcome new awesome pets to our roster. I asked our uber talented groomers to send me pics to make an announcement on social media and this is what I got 🙄. Not exactly what I was going for but I promise to follow up this post with some more pics that highlight this teams’ amazing skills and abilities.
