They say if you’re not embarrassed by the first version of your product you launched too late….

2 years ago when I was starting The Doggery I spent hours working on a logo and packaging. Nothing felt right, but I was a baby founder and I wasn’t even clear on what was “right”

So I launched anyways, and over the years I came across other businesses using the same logo. I told myself once I was more clear on what the business was and what it meant to me I would revisit my overall branding, the time has finally come….

Two years ago, I started this business with just three treats. Today, there are sixteen — because dogs are different, lifestyles are different, and variety matters.

But it doesn’t have to be complicated.

I’ve spent the last two years talking with dog parents about what they’re really looking for. The answer is always the same: simple ingredients that they can trust

Not products with a hundred things you can’t pronounce — just real food, made from scratch, with care. The same treats we feed to our own dogs.

You don’t have to feed perfectly

Merry Christmas from our family to yours.

At this time of year, we’re especially grateful for the families who have trusted us with something so meaningful. It’s an honour to serve Peterborough and the Kawartha's community, and to be part of so many stories.
