Exciting news at OTCC! We are expanding our teaching hospital capacity even more and are inviting veterinarians to apply to the Koval Foundation Veterinarian Internship Program.

This 1-year internship is open to veterinarians with at least one year of clinical experience who want to immerse themselves in turtle medicine at our hospital starting early in 2027. Check out the job posting at ontarioturtle.ca/jobs for details!

We’re hiring! PHS is looking for Adoptions and Customer Experience Specialist to join our shelter team. 🐶🐱

You’d be the first friendly face visitors see, helping with adoptions and making every visit feel welcoming. It’s a casual part-time contract (up to 32 hours a week for 12 months), and weekends are part of the schedule.

Operation Catnip Peterborough is looking for a new recovery space. Please see their post and share with anyone who might be able to help. 😻

Update: Pre/Post-Op Space Needed 🐾

We have officially moved out of our pre/post-op space, and we are currently without a dedicated location to support cats recovering from spay/neuter surgery.

For now, we can only accept new intakes if caregivers are able to provide pre/post-op care in their own homes.

Our team will support caregivers with trapping assistance, instructions, equipment, and supplies. We can also help with vet transportation within Peterborough, but caregivers outside the area will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the vet.

We’re keeping our fingers and paws crossed that a new space will come our way soon! 🤞🐱

If you have a space that might work, or know of someone who could help, we would love to hear from you. Every bit of support makes a difference in helping us continue our work for community cats.
