Our busy boarding facility is looking for full time and part time staff. Weekdays, weekend days and weekend evenings available.
Weekdays 7am start. The hours run according to the day - usually shift ending 2-4pm range
Weekends 7am start - typically shift ends 1-2pm range
Weekend evenings 3-8pm
Duties include lots of horse handling, experinence is a must. Feeding, blanketing, unblanketing, all sorts of turnout gear goes on, hay and water duties, mucking, stall prep, lunging, tacking, tidying the barn, helping with appointments such as farrier, vet, chiro, and other assigned duties.
Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be patient. We have lots of lovely clients that are in barn a lot. Professional and helpful is a must. Must be aware of what is going on with the horses at all times. We have alll sorts of horses including young and green horses.
Must have reliable transportation. Please keep in mind winter driving conditions when considering applying to this position.
