If you can help ❤️ this is such a wonderful rescue that helps so many small pets
Things are exceptionally grim in the financial department.
We received a generous donation a couple of months ago that helped us catch up on a few things, but we are unfortunately back to wondering how we are going to pay our vet and credit card bills.
Midori's medical treatments including spay have cost close to $1,500 (and we received an amazing $500 in donations towards her care).
Unfortunately our monthly donations no longer cover our monthly expenses, so little by little, we are falling behind again. We have had to cancel our storage unit and HQ's garage is now the storage shed for rescue items again.
We desperately need monetary donations to pay down our vet bill, buy supplies, and cover our other expenses (gas, website cost, advertising, etc). We have always done our best to have enough of a savings in case of an emergency, but as we've mentioned before, our Selkirk mission drained our entire savings, and we are once again nearing the point of having literally nothing.
So we're reaching out for help. We know times are hard all around, but sparing even $5 can make a world of difference.
WAYS TO HELP:
- If you or your business would like to consider matching donations up to a certain amount, please email Cindy at [email protected] to discuss.
- Host a yard sale, bake sale, lemonade stand, or donation drive, and donate the proceeds to our rescue.
- Purchase tickets from our 50/50 draw:

Donating Funds is also an easy way to help:
- Via e-transfer or PayPal to [email protected]
- Via the Square link on our website
- Directly to our vet account at Assiniboia Animal Hospital
- Purchase from a fundraiser (Pizza, Chocolate Bars)
DON'T FORGET! All monetary donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax recipt. This is a great for businesses to make corporate or matching donations, and receive a tax write off.
If ultimately you are unable to do any of the above, please just give this post a share. You may know someone that can help.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support us in finding homes for all of the animals in care. We cannot do this without you.
