🍂 With fall officially here, there's no better time to welcome a new furry family member. Over 600 pets found homes in PetSmart stores during the first week of fall, but PetSmart Charities of Canada is helping more pets find loving homes this season.

Wondering why fall is such a great time to adopt?

🍁 Settle in before the holidays: The quieter pace of the season gives your new pet time to adjust to their new home and routine before the busy holiday season begins.

🐾 Enjoy the season together: From crisp walks and outdoor adventures to cozy evenings on the couch, fall is the perfect time to build a lasting bond.

❤️ Help more pets in need: Every adoption not only changes the life of one pet, but also frees up valuable space and resources at local shelters and rescues so they can help even more animals.

Visit a PetSmart Charities of Canada adoption centre at your local PetSmart store to meet adoptable pets looking for loving families. Your newest best friend might be waiting this fall. 🐶🐱🍁

Every rescue story is special, but Puzzle’s feels like fate. 🧩❤️

After enduring years without the care she deserved, Puzzle was rescued by the Nova Scotia SPCA - Dartmouth Shelter and spent seven months receiving treatment for complex medical needs before finding the loving home she’d always dreamed of. As a proud PetSmart Charities of Canada partner, the Nova Scotia SPCA helped support Puzzle’s recovery and medical journey, giving her a second chance at a happy and healthy life.

When Brett and Jodi met Puzzle, they instantly knew she belonged with them. What they didn't expect was the incredible coincidence that followed: Brett had a tattoo sleeve featuring a single puzzle piece intentionally left unfinished. Around the same age as Puzzle herself, the tattoo's missing piece suddenly seemed to make perfect sense. 🥹

Today, Puzzle is thriving with her forever family, and is living her best life filled with walks, camping trips, toys and endless love. 🥰

Puzzle's story proves that sometimes the missing piece isn’t a thing at all... it has four paws. 🐾

We wanted to share pictures and stories about the Cats and Kittens we have at PetSmart Penticton.
We have two beautiful short haired Tories, these two are very loveable. Their names are Jessica and Justine. They were born approx. May 1st, 2018. Jessica and Justine were taken in by AlleyCats Alliance in the past few months along with 5 kittens that they were nursing together. They are both EXTREMELY affectionate and love to be petted. Were not sure how they are with dogs. Jessica and Justine are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. These 2 are favourites of the associates at PetSmart. The cost of adoption is $160 each. Which includes their spray, 1st vaccines, exam and deworming and tattoo and microchip.

I would also like to introduce you to Chocolate she is approximately 2 years old a long hair tortoise. She is a bit shy at first however once I feel safe I am a real love bug. I talk a bit as well.

We just recently received Shadow she is approximately 4 years old. She is a Grey Cat who is super friendly, she loves to sit in your lap and sleep with her humans. She's not crazy about being picked up and has been an indoor cat. She has had no exposure to dogs. She has lived with children. She had been returned to AlleyCats because her family is moving to the East Coast and cannot take her.

And today we received 6 bundles of joy looking for their forever homes. They are all approx. 3 months old. Their names are Penny who is a long haired black and white kitten, Sophia who is a long hair female black and white, Paris who is a short hair female who is a grey tabby , we have London who is a short hair female brown tabby, Linc is a short hair male who is orange and white, and we also have Asia who is a short hair female Tabby who is Orange. All Cats and Kittens come with their first shots, are micro chipped, deformed. All Cats and kittens are $160.
Also PetSmart will provide a coupon book which has $550 in saving coupons for cat and dog supplies, which includes a free bag of food with adoption.
If you are interested in adopting any of these beautiful cats or kittens please come and visit.
