📢 Update on Noelle
Following her most recent vet visit and routine bloodwork, Noelle’s results showed she still has very mild anaplasmosis and ehrlichia. She has already completed a full 30-day course of doxycycline, which is typically sufficient, but as part of our standard protocol before travel, we retested her to ensure she was fully cleared.
Based on these results, Noelle requires an additional 30 days of antibiotics to fully clear the infection. These are common, treatable tick-borne infections, and she is expected to make a full recovery.
Noelle is feeling great and in wonderful spirits. She will be retested after treatment, and once she receives a clean bill of health, she’ll be cleared to travel and begin her next chapter in Canada 💛🐾
We will repost Noelle when she is ready to start her new life and begin accepting applications at that time.
Thank you for your patience and for supporting us in always putting our dogs’ health first.

💜 Her Story
On Christmas Day, while on her way to pick up rescue crates at the Cancun airport, Danielle Michon spotted a tiny, bald, pink dog in a village one hour out of Valladolid. She stopped to give her food, water, and NexGard—but couldn’t take her at the time.
Danielle couldn’t shake the image of that little dog and knew she had to go back.
Just days later, despite being unwell, Danielle returned—determined to save her. With the help of Marty Osorio, they safely rescued her and rushed her for veterinary care, followed by a five-hour round trip days later to see a specialist.
That dog is now Noelle—fully healed and ready for a fresh start with a loving family.
