To Our Wonderful Primal Paw Family,
We are reaching out today to share a very important—and bittersweet—update about the future of our store.
Since the day we opened our doors, our top priority has been simple: ensuring our community has reliable access to high-quality food and wholesome treats at a fair value. We know how much your dogs mean to you because they mean the world to us, too. Over the years, we’ve built an incredible, tight-knit community of passionate pet owners who truly understand the difference good nutrition makes.
However, running a standalone specialty store in a smaller community comes with its share of challenges, and it’s something we’ve been fighting through behind the scenes since day one. We’ve come to realize that operating as a completely independent storefront is no longer feasible on its own.
But we have great news: Primal Paw is NOT closing!
Because keeping these high-quality foods and products available right here in our neighborhood means everything to us, we’ve found a creative way forward. We are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with our wonderful next-door neighbors at Sweet Treats Factory!
What This Means for You
Over the next few weeks, you’ll start to notice a few changes around the shop, along with two new friendly faces: Matt and Tara from Sweet Treats. They are stepping in to help integrate our offerings into their space so that you can continue getting the exact same products, high standards, and trusted care you’ve come to rely on—without having to drive out of town.
A Fond Farewell to Chynna
The most bittersweet part of this transition is that our amazing store manager, Chynna—who so many of you have come to know, trust, and call a friend—will be moving on to pursue an exciting new career path. Chynna has been the heart and soul of our shop, and while we will miss her tremendously, we are so proud of her next step.
To ensure a seamless transition and keep that same level of warm, knowledgeable service you expect, Chynna will be working side-by-side with Matt and Tara over the coming weeks to show them the ropes and pass the torch.

We encourage all of you to pop in over the next few weeks to give Chynna a warm, fond farewell, wish her the absolute best, and introduce yourselves to Matt and Tara.
