SHE IS HOME!

This girl is missing from the Penetang area. She was last seen bolting into the forest at Tom Coffin park. She is 12 weeks old. Had been missing since 230 pm yesterday. If you happen to live or know anyone who lives in any of the houses backing that park, please ask them to check their out buildings, under their decks etc. She may have sought shelter for the night. She is shy. If you see her, please call the number on the image below. Let's try to bring little Ruby home.

It was a hard day today. They are always hard days when we have had to say goodbye to one of our pack. Today, we say goodbye to Ms Parker, one of our oldest and wisest of girls. She passed away peacefully with her favorite human by her side. She was so very loved.

Parker came into my life over the past couple of years when she started to visit her sister Willow more often. What was occasional turned into all the time after a while and I got to spend a very precious bit of many of my days with this wonderful old girl. She was a senior but every so often you could see the puppy she once was and my heart would be so happy when she was playful. She loved our time together, enjoyed our little walks to the public access beach and back. She loved balls and playing fetch in the yard. She had mastered the art of getting extra treats.

I wish I had known that our time would come to an end on Thursday when I saw you. I would have given you so many more treats and so much more love

Willow and I walked your route today one last time. She misses you. She is getting into trouble without you there. Tomorrow, we will go back to our old one but every so often you may still find us on yours. I will miss you. Run free and bask in the warmth of the sun. I will see you again one day my girl. ❤️🌈🐾

Tonight we remember Pete, who crossed the bridge on Monday with his mama by his side.
I didn't know Pete for long but he stole my heart the day we met He was a beautiful old soul who just lived and loved. His walks were slow but he gave me the opportunity to take a break from my usual pace, breathe and enjoy the time I had when i would see him. What I wouldn't have given for a few more visits with this special boy. He was a good boy who loved his cookies, his mama and his walks. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life, even for the shortest of moments. I will miss those walks and that beautiful smile. Run free Petey! Till we meet again ❤️🐾
