A well-rounded companion, hunting dog, or family dog needs exposure and training for everything and anything—including boat rides and loading and unloading from a boat.

It doesn’t always start out pretty, but with training and experience, they eventually learn to do the job.

Getting a new puppy is always exciting. But they should come with a caution label. The wilder we make them the more maintenance they need as older dogs. Just like a race car the performance will start to slip if you don’t do the maintenance
