Help Rex Get Back on His Paws 🐾

Rex overcame severe neglect and became my best friend and partner in helping other dogs. Now he needs our help. He has torn ligaments in his right knee and needs urgent surgery costing approximately $6,000 CAD, plus medications and follow-up care.

Every donation and share helps me get my boy the care he needs. Thank you for supporting us. ❤️ https://gofund.me/0173539cf

Adventures with my boy Rex 🐾❤️

Last weekend we went to The Great Dog Day, where Rex won the trick competition! 🏆 we also visited my friend’s farm and met the horses.

I love taking Rex on outings. Wherever we go, he does his job: showing off, making friends, and getting us plenty of attention 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🐾

Lucius’s progress is proof that training doesn’t stop when the lesson ends. 🐾

From heeling beside Dad and practising recall on a long line, to safely involving the youngest member of the family Lucius continues to grow with every lesson.

His manners with company are settling, his door and leash manners have improved, and he recently completed a controlled meet-and-greet with Rex to begin developing calmer manners around other dogs.

A huge shoutout to Lucius’s parents for doing their homework, following through with the training, and staying consistent between lessons. I may provide the tools and guidance, but their hard work at home is what makes progress like this possible.

Good dogs aren’t trained in one day they’re built through patience, teamwork and consistency. Keep making us proud, Lucius! 💛🐕

Meet Kelly, Piper and little Aggie, the Kitchener crew! 🐾

When I first started working with them, Kelly and Piper struggled with reacting to people at the door and pulling on leash. Even little Aggie played a role, so we made sure she was included in the training too!

With consistency, teamwork and a few helpful pointers, their mom is now much more confident handling all three dogs and knows exactly what to do when challenges come up. Their door manners have improved drastically, their walks are becoming more manageable, and the work Mom is putting in is paying off! 👏

Training the dogs is only half the job building a confident, capable owner is just as important. 🖤🐕‍🦺

Meet Teddy, Onyx & Trixie! 🐾

Teddy is a big, powerful boy who loves to pull, while Onyx and Trixie both struggle with reactivity. I’m responsible for walking this crew 3 to 4 times each week, providing them with safe, structured exercise while reinforcing better leash manners, calmer choices and improved focus.

I specialize in handling large, powerful breeds, heavy pullers and reactive dogs not only during training sessions, but through regular dog walking as well. If walking your dog has become stressful, overwhelming or physically difficult, I can help give them the exercise and structure they need while keeping everyone safe.

Your dog doesn’t need to be “easy” to deserve a great walk. 💪🐕

From leash pulling and reactivity to calm walks and confidence. 🐾

Brolly came to Mikie’s Dog Services with no formal training, but with consistency, teamwork, and owner education, he learned all the basics. The biggest transformation wasn’t just Brolly it was helping his mom realize she was just as capable as his dad.

Now they’re walking with confidence, handling distractions, and enjoying their time together. Proud of this team. 💪🐶
