⚡ WE’RE BACK UP AND RUNNING! ⚡

We’re happy to share that the power is back on at Paris Veterinary Clinic, and we are now back to operating normally! 🐾

We know the recent storm caused some challenging conditions throughout the area, and we hope that everyone — both our clients and their families, and our four-legged friends — made it through safely. ❤️

Almost Time

The annual Youth Pet Show at the Paris Fair is getting closer!

Dr. Kelly Lawn is returning as a judge this year and can’t wait to see the familiar faces of our patients and their young owners.

It’s always wonderful to see the care, confidence and connection between kids and their pets. We wish every young handler the very best and look forward to seeing you at the fair!

Can you believe it? It’s Week 9 — and the FINAL WEEK of our Summer Photo Contest!

Where has summer gone?! It feels like we blinked and the season is already winding down. We’ve loved seeing all the ways you’ve been making the most of summer, from family adventures and days out to backyard fun and those simple sunny moments.

Some clinics have staff meetings. Some have team-building exercises.

We have a poutine-eating competition. 😂 🍟 🧀

For roughly 18 YEARS, the annual Paris Veterinary Clinic Pou-Off has been a battle of speed, determination, questionable decision-making, and an alarming amount of gravy.

👑 Dr. Bart Straus has been the reigning Pou-Off champion year after year… BUT THIS YEAR, we had a serious threat to the throne.

🔥 Dr. Kevin Barbosa came dangerously close to dethroning the champ! 🔥

The rules are simple:
➡️ Spectators get a small poutine to enjoy while watching the carnage.
➡️ Competitors? FAMILY-SIZED POUTINES. 😳
➡️ Fastest finish wins.
➡️ Dignity is optional.

And yes… our veterinarians spend their days caring for your beloved pets, but when the workday is done, we work hard AND play hard. ❤️

Congratulations to our reigning champion, Dr. Bart Straus, for holding onto the crown for another year! 👑

💙 Buck’s Last Chemo Treatment! 🎉🐾

We had a very special day at Paris Veterinary Clinic as we welcomed Buck, our handsome Bullmastiff cross, for his 19th and final chemotherapy treatment. 🥹💙

Buck was diagnosed with lymphoma, but thanks to early detection, dedicated treatment, and one very good boy, he is doing AMAZING! 🐶✨

Nineteen weeks of chemotherapy is a long journey, and Buck has handled it like the absolute champ he is. We couldn’t be more proud of him and his family! 🥰

💙 The good news? When lymphoma is caught early, treatment can make a difference. Early diagnosis and starting treatment promptly can give our patients more time and, importantly, more good-quality time with the people who love them.

Congratulations, Buck! 🎉 You’ve officially graduated from chemo! 🥳🐾

We’re so happy to see you doing so well, buddy!
