With warmer weather and increasing tick populations across Ontario, we are seeing a rise in Lyme disease risk for pets and people. Blacklegged ticks can be found in wooded areas, parks, trails, tall grass and even some backyards.

🐾How to protect your pet🐾
Keep your pet on recommend prevention year round
Check your pet daily
Avoid tall grass and bush when possible
Remove ticks promptly once noticing
Keep your yard groomed

🐾Signs of Lyme Disease in Pets🐾
Lethargy
Fever
Limping or joint pain
Loss of appetite
Swollen lymph nodes

If you notice any of these signs or find a tick on your pet, contact us for guidance. Tick prevention is the best defense against Lyme disease and other tick borne illnesses.

🚨 BIG NEWS 🚨

After years of caring for your fur babies, we’re excited to officially announce…

✨ Cobblestone Animal Hospital is opening a DAYCARE… for HUMAN CHILDREN! ✨

That’s right — while you’re at work, drop off your little ones and we’ll make sure they’re:
🐾 Well-fed (snacks every 2 hours, obviously)
🐾 Exercised (leash walks around the clinic)
🐾 Socialized (supervised playtime in the kennel area)
🐾 Up to date on all their “treats”

Please note:
• Children must be crate-trained
• Excessive barking (we mean yelling) may result in quiet time

Spots are limited — call now to book your child’s temperament test! 😌
