That’s right! We came together to create FIVE signature (human) hand lotions that we are selling in support of The Farley Foundation!
Annnnnd we *might* be a tad competitive, so teams will definitively be watching which scent sells out first 🏁
However it works out, everyone is a winner when we all come together for Farley!

And don’t worry, our very own Kim has been crafting lotions for years. We used cosmetic-grade products in her amazing lotion lab. Feel free to ask for the ingredients, but we might make you guess the scents!

No, we don’t actually have a child-sized superhero waiting in the wings in case of porcupine emergencies. But we do have an amazing team of grown up and well trained Techs and Vets, plus amazing sedation protocols that allow us to safely and painlessly remove quills. While quills can be pulled at home without sedation, your pet might not like you very much for it, and there is increased risk of the quills breaking or migrating inwards. We can still remove some of these but it increases the cost and the risk of lost quills in your pet.
Fall is a high-risk time for dogs to encounter a spiked friend. Dawn and dusk are frequently the time incidents occur. Keep an eye on your pooches when they are outdoors in wooded areas!
And remember, if quill occur, just call for Quillboy!! (Aka your local vet clinic 🐾😁)

Hoping everyone enjoys this weekend, however you are marking it!
Stay safe, watch out for ticks, ensure garbages have tight lids to keep curious pets away from Turkey bones and enjoy the fall colours!
As ever, should you have a veterinary emergency, you can receive assistance by calling 519-353-4000. You may be directed to Bluewater Veterinary Emerg in Owen Sound, Vetwise telehealth or other options as best suited for your situation.

Ticks love the cool fall weather. I know, I just found one on my own cat Babin 😬😅
If you’re like me and might have been bit late getting tick prevention for your pet, we can help!!

In October we pause to recognize and appreciate our Registered Veterinary Technicians. Often the voice on the phone, the face in the room and the dedicated presence keeping your pet calm and comfortable during their stay with us. But less often known or celebrated.
Do you know our RVTs? Answer below with their names and three roles they play in our clinic for a chance to win some spiffy prizes!!!

The Paisley Vet Services Team is rolling right along in preparing to care for our exotic friends!
Dr Aarushi lead a lunch time training session on common health concerns, routine care, possible FAQs and last (but the most fun!) demonstrating safe handling. We each brought a stuffy friend to help us practice.
We can’t wait to meet our new patients!!!

Today was a fun day! 🐔❤️ Our new employee got to hold a chicken, while one of our vets had the chance to see her very first chicken patient. We’re always learning something new at the clinic! Welcome Hayley RVT to our clinic!
