We have TWO Spaces available for a Ranch Riding & Flag Work Clinic with Haley Frey!

📅 Saturday, October 24th | 9 AM – 4 PM

AM - Ranch Riding

Potluck lunch

PM - Flag Work Clinic

Any tack, any discipline, any experience level — everyone is welcome!

A chance to build some skills, challenge yourself and your horse, and enjoy a day with a great group of people.

Cost is $150 per participant
Auditors welcome! $25

Haley has a background in the western performance industry with earnings in reined cowhorse and cutting as well.

💚 It takes a village… and what a wonderful village we have! 🐴

As we wrap up our 2026 Working Trail Schooling Series, we want to take a moment to recognize all the people who helped make this season such a success.

First, a HUGE thank you to our judge Lisa Halwachs Wright, who brought knowledge, encouragement, wisdom and a thoughtful eye to every class. To our scribe(s) - (we had a few), who kept everything recorded and running smoothly, and to our volunteers, who generously gave their time and energy to help make these events happen. We couldn’t do it without you!

To every participant who loaded up their horse and joined us, whether it was your first time at Brightside or you’ve been coming for years, THANK YOU! We love seeing the variety of horses, we love watching teams grow together, the people, disciplines and experience levels that come together here is second to none. From the littlest minis to the biggest horses, the youngsters just learning the ropes to the seasoned veterans, you all make Brightside what it is. Thank you for that!

To our spectators, families, friends and cheerleaders, thank you for showing up, supporting the competitors and adding to the positive atmosphere we work so hard to create.

We’re closing things out with some of our Veteran competitors and the Ranch Jackpot class, where everyone gets to have a little extra fun!

What a great day to finish off our show season. So many gorgeous horses, so many lovely people, and plenty of memories to carry us through until next year.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, participated, volunteered, cheered from the sidelines and helped make Brightside what it is. 💚

The shows may be finished, but the park is still open for play as long as the weather and footing cooperate. Come make a few more memories before the season is over!

Big horses, little horses, young ones, old pros and everything in between — all tackling the same course in their own way. That’s one of our favourite things about Brightside.

The first batch of photos from our final Brightside Working Trail show of the season! 🐴🍂

We had so many Young Horse photos (and a few great cameos in there from our spectators) this time around - they must have been extra photogenic! This first batch takes us almost all the way through our youngsters — and next up, we’ll be moving into In-Hand Obstacles.

Different horses. Different people. Different goals. And a whole lot of really great moments in between. ❤️

• $40/horse for a single visit
• $30/horse for groups of 3 or more
• $99 + HST for a 30-Day Park Pass

And yes — there’s still time to make that 30-day pass worthwhile! As long as the ground stays dry, the park stays open for play. If Mother Nature cooperates, your 30 days can take you right through the remainder of our season. 🍁🙌
