Say hello to this sweet face! 🤎 Heidi is an adorable 15-week-old Norwegian Elkhound who recently stopped by Harmony Road Animal Hospital, and just look at those ears! 🥹🐶

Norwegian Elkhounds are known for being loyal, energetic, fearless companions, and little Heidi is already doing a wonderful job representing her breed. ✨ She has a big brother at home who we’re certain is doing an amazing job teaching her!

We absolutely love watching our puppy patients grow and getting to be a part of their journey from those first little visits through every stage of life. 🩺🐾

Look who’s been doing some serious growing! 🥹 Kirby first visited us in the beginning of July at just 11 weeks old and 20.4 lbs, and now she’s already 17 weeks old and 38 lbs! 🐶✨

We absolutely love getting to watch our patients grow up right before our eyes. From tiny puppy visits to those long legs and big smiles, it’s so special being a little part of their journey. 💗

Seasonal allergies are common in pets, and we’re currently seeing many seasonal flare-ups at Harmony Road Animal Hospital.

Keep an eye out for common signs such as:
🐶 Excessive scratching or itching
👅 Frequent licking or chewing of paws
👂 Red, itchy, or recurrently irritated ears
🔴 Red or irritated skin
🐾 Hair loss or hot spots from excessive scratching
👀 Watery or irritated eyes
🤧 Sneezing or other signs of irritation

💉 Vaccinations – Protect against serious, preventable diseases. Even indoor cats can be exposed through open doors, new pets, visitors, or unexpected escapes.

June was filled with wagging tails, happy purrs, smiling faces, and lots of love! Here’s a look back at some of our favourite moments from the month. Thank you to all of our amazing clients for trusting us with your pets—we love being part of their journey! 🐶🐱

🐾 A friendly reminder: We are still seeing positive 4DX test results in our patients. If your dog hasn’t had their annual 4DX test yet, now is the perfect time to schedule! This simple blood test screens for:
- Heartworm
- Lyme disease
- Anaplasmosis
- Ehrlichia
