🌿🐾 Allergy season has been ruff!

Sweet Lily has been receiving Cytopoint injections to help manage her environmental allergies and keep that uncomfortable itching under control. 💉💗

We’ve seen many dogs struggling with allergy symptoms this season, including itchy or red skin, constant paw licking, ear irritation, scratching, and recurrent skin infections.

Cytopoint is one option your veterinarian may recommend to help provide relief from allergic itch and keep dogs like Lily feeling comfortable. 🐶✨

If your dog seems itchier than usual, don’t wait for their skin to become sore or infected. Give us a call to book an exam so we can discuss the best allergy-management options for your pet.

🦷✨ Jax’s Dental Care Routine! ✨🦷

Did you know that Jax’s mom brushes his teeth every single day? 🐶🪥 This simple daily habit can make a BIG difference in preventing dental disease and keeping those pearly whites healthy!

Dental disease is one of the most common health concerns in dogs, and plaque can begin building up quickly. Regular brushing helps remove plaque before it hardens into tartar and can help reduce bad breath, gum inflammation, pain, and more serious dental problems.

🐾 Small dogs are especially prone to dental disease. Their smaller mouths often mean teeth are crowded together, making plaque and tartar easier to accumulate.

🐾 Large dogs need dental care too! While their teeth may have more room, they can still develop plaque, tartar, gingivitis, and periodontal disease.

🪥 Daily brushing is the gold standard! Even if your dog isn’t a fan at first, starting slowly and making it part of their daily routine can help them become comfortable with it. Always use a toothpaste specifically made for dogs—never human toothpaste.

And remember: brushing is an important part of prevention, but it doesn’t replace regular veterinary dental examinations and professional cleanings when recommended.

❤️ Give those smiles the care they deserve—just like Jax!
