🐾 Our puppies are growing up so quickly! 🐾

The puppies are becoming more independent every day, and it has been so much fun watching their little personalities shine! They are doing wonderfully with their potty training and are learning more and more each day. 🙌🐶

They absolutely love playing together, exploring their bigger puppy pen, and of course, taking turns enjoying their favourite little slide! 🛝🐾

We’ve expanded their space to encourage even more independence from Mama Rosie, and she is definitely enjoying some well-deserved “me time!” 😀😃❤️🐩

We also have Mentee Vanessa🥰 helping the puppies learn an important skill—recall! Using the fun phrase “Puppy, puppy, puppy!”, the little ones are beginning to learn to come running when called. 🥰🐾

They are growing, learning, playing, and becoming more confident every single day—and we couldn't be more proud of them! 💕

This beautiful girl has almost a full waiting list for her Miniature - Moyen (Medium) Goldendoodles next year!

and these little ones have officially entered the “play hard, nap harder” stage. 🤎🐶

At this age, there is SO much happening in those tiny little bodies and curious minds. They’re becoming more aware of their surroundings, discovering their siblings, finding their little voices, and starting to explore the big world around them.

But after all that growing, learning, wobbling, and playing… sleep is still a very important part of their day! 💤✨

Those peaceful puppy naps are when their bodies and brains get a chance to recharge and grow. And honestly… we could watch these little sleepy faces all day. 🥹❤️

🦴🐾 LET’S TALK HIPS: WHAT IS PENNHIP & WHY DOES IT MATTER? 🐾🦴

When choosing a puppy, most people look at the parents and think, “Are they healthy? Are their genetic tests clear?”

But there’s another important question responsible breeders should be asking:
How healthy are their hips? 🤔
That’s where PennHIP (or OFA) comes in. 🐶✨

🦴 WHAT EXACTLY IS PENNHIP?
PennHIP is a specialized X-ray evaluation that measures hip laxity—essentially, how tightly or loosely the ball of the hip joint fits into its socket.
And here’s the interesting part…
A dog can be running, jumping, playing, and looking completely healthy while still having significant hip laxity. 👀

🧬 WHY DOES THIS MATTER FOR BREEDING?
Hip dysplasia isn't simply a matter of bad luck. Genetics play an important role.
That means breeders have an opportunity to make better decisions by selecting breeding dogs with stronger orthopedic health.
PennHIP can be performed at a much younger age than traditional adult hip certification, allowing breeders to obtain useful information about a dog's hip laxity earlier in life.
Instead of simply saying:

No health test can promise that every puppy will be free from hip dysplasia.
Genetics are complex, and factors such as growth rate, nutrition, body condition, and environment can also influence orthopedic health.
But responsible breeding isn't about eliminating every possible risk—that isn't realistic.
It's about identifying the risks we CAN measure and making informed choices to reduce them.

🐾✨ THREE WEEKS OLD! ✨🐾

Three weeks old and our little puppies are officially entering one of the most exciting stages of puppyhood! 🥹🤎

They’re changing so much every single day, and we’re beginning to see their little personalities shine through.

👀 Eyes are open! Their vision is still developing, but they’re starting to take in the world around them.

👂 They’re beginning to hear! Little sounds, voices, and the activity around them are becoming much more interesting.

🐾 Those little legs are working! They’re transitioning from crawling to taking their first wobbly steps—and watching them figure out how to walk is absolutely adorable!

💕 Sibling interaction is increasing. They’re beginning to crawl over one another, paw, mouth, play, and communicate with their littermates.

🐶 More awake + more curious! Their periods of alertness are getting longer, and they’re starting to venture out and explore their surroundings.

🥰 Personalities are emerging! You may start to notice the little cuddler, the curious explorer, the confident one, or the puppy who already thinks they’re the boss!

🍼 Mommy Rosie is still the star of the show. They’re primarily nursing at this age, while gradually becoming more interested in the food and world around them.

🌎 Their world is getting bigger! This is the beginning of a wonderful transition from sleepy newborns into curious little puppies who are ready to learn, explore, and experience new things.

Three weeks may seem so little, but SO much is happening behind those tiny paws! 🐾🤎

We can’t wait to watch these little personalities continue to blossom over the coming weeks. ✨
