💔 Our club is saddened today by the loss of one of our original members, Queen Latifah (QL).

QL was Julie’s heart and soul. She opened the door to dog sports for Julie and, along the way, they both fell in love with Flyball. 💚

QL loved everyone, and she definitely had a mind of her own. When she was done, she was DONE! 😂 She was the biggest social butterfly and could often be found leaving the lanes or the disc field just to go say hello to whoever happened to be nearby. Her incredible cuteness made her impossible to resist.

Back in May, QL ran her final Flyball race, earning her Iron Dog title after 10 years of racing and officially entering retirement. What an incredible way to finish her Flyball career. 🐾💚

This unexpected loss has hit our club hard. QL was more than just a teammate—she was part of the fabric of our club and will be deeply missed.

Please keep Julie in your thoughts as she navigates this heartbreaking loss. 💚

Run free, sweet QL. Your paw prints will forever be part of our club. 🌈🐾

One of our original team dogs has had to be rushed to the emergency vet early this morning. QL belongs to one of our co-captains Julie and is the dog that got Julie into dog sports. QL and Cocoa 🪽🐾 were those dogs that brought Julie and I together as friends and our love for Flyball that in the end made us start our own Flyball club.

If you can donated that would be a great help, but if not, sharing this post would be a great.

This is especially difficult for Julie has she is away in Spain at the moment and can’t be here for QL in her time of need. Please keep Julie and QL in your thoughts.

🐾 Please join us in welcoming Mandy, Rory and their 9-month-old Sheltie, Melody, to the Freddy Flyers! 🐾

They’ve joined our club through our 12-week Sponsorship Program, and last night was their very first practice! 💚

This little girl is already showing us some great foundations. She has an awesome recall, is doing great with restrains, and most importantly… she LOVES the ball! 🎾🐶

We’re so excited to have Mandy, Rory and Melody join us and can’t wait to see how this little girl grows. Here’s hoping they all fall in love with Flyball as much as the rest of us have! 💚🐾

Welcome to the Freddy Flyers family! 🐕💨
