Everybody please welcome our newest Locum Dr. Ypma.

Dr. Lisa Ypma was raised in Prince Edward County, Ontario and expanded on her love of animals by working at a veterinary clinic and equestrian stables. Her respect for the unconditional love of animals, combined with a passion for science, medicine, and connecting with people made becoming a veterinarian an unwavering choice!

Dr. Ypma graduated from the University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College in 2000. Since then, she has practised in emergency and companion animal veterinary hospitals in Ottawa. Lisa enjoys the scope of veterinary medicine and embraces fear free techniques. She places high priority on continuing education, communicating options to clients and providing thorough patient care along with the veterinary team!

Lisa's greatest joy is being a mother and spending time with her family. For relaxation, she enjoys gardening, serving as a volunteer and staying active outdoors.

We look forward to having her with us every Thursday in clinic from 9-5pm. Ask our receptionist team to book with her now!

August 28th is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. It is a day to honour our cherished companions who have passed away and “crossed the rainbow bridge”. 🐈🌈

Today is a day to reflect on the special bond we shared with them and the joy they brought to us.

Please share photos and memories of your special friends who have crossed the rainbow bridge. We are thinking of you all today. ❤ 🐾
