We're close to reaching our first donation milestone (Get Pie-d 🥧) and THANK YOU to those who have already donated! As an incentive, cast your vote along with your generous donations this week to choose either Dr. P**n, Dr. Hauer or Dr. Molnar to get pied and we'll post the results! 🤣

Please share and help us support the wonderful Farley Foundation!

Fundraise for Farley Month 2026 had kicked off here in support of Farley Foundation. The Farley Foundation helps vulnerable pet owners whose pets are in need. Because of supporters like us and other hospitals, 1,202 pets have already received the veterinary care they needed in 2026. 🥰

This year, we are putting our bodies on the line (quite literally) in support with your generous donation. At each fundraising tier goal, there's a staff challenge for us to complete! Raise enough to see Dr. P**n and Dr. Molnar complete a mystery challenge!! 👀

Donations over $25 are eligible for a tax receipt. By participating, you're not just raising funds. You're helping keep pets in their home, where they belong.

We are celebrating all October to showcase the essential work that Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) do in and out of clinical practice. Their years of schooling and accreditation with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians - OAVT means they are capable in areas of anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, nutrition, parasitology and much more! They are deeply involved in patient care and client education and helping veterinary teams provide the highest standard of care. 🩺🐾

💙 We are proud of our RVTs Michelle, Lindsay, Jade and Ashley for all they do here at Mariposa Veterinary Hospital! 💙

We will be featuring them all month so stay tuned!

Today is World Rabies Day, highlighting the theme “Stronger Together” 💉 It highlights that rabies elimination is only possible when we work together.

The core of our fight against Rabies is to have your dogs, cats (yes, even indoor cats!) and ferrets receive routine rabies vaccinations. We offer the Boehringer Ingelheim Imrab3 🐶 and PureVax 🐱 line of Rabies vaccines, which confer 1 and 3-year protection. The PureVax vaccine is adjuvant-free, which is safer and reduces the risk of injection site side effects. 🐾

Rabies remains nearly 100% fatal when symptoms appear, so our efforts continue to also save lives of children and families. Your actions matter!⚕️ 🩺
