October is Registered Veterinary Technician appreciation month.

RVTs are truly the “GOAT”s of vet med, doing countless jobs including but not limited to - exam histories, phlebotomy, anesthetic monitoring, lab specimen collection and assessment, pharmacy technicians, radiology and so much more!

We are fortunate to have 4 amazing RVTs working with us. Gillian, Maghan, Heather and Kaia, we could not do it without you!

This month, and every day in between, we are so thankful for each of you!

Another reminder that the ticks are still out and active! Ticks are actually more active now during the fall “tick bloom” than in the warmer summer months, generally preferring the cooler weather.

Today’s tick was found on a cat who goes outdoors on leash. Even short trips outdoors can put your pets at risk for ticks.

Feel free to ask us about the best option for your pet.
