These dogs in Saskatchewan First Nations are not 'wild', they are homeless (constant mating and breeding more homeless puppies), sweet, shy, deeply suffering and desperate. An excerpt from Reed Salmon about "wild" dogs, a statement to address the atrocity of mass dog killings ('culling', what people who shoot to death mass animals) in terrifying, cruel deaths.
Community members, please protest these so-called cullings, bring dogs inside your homes, and contact rescue people who can hopefully help you. Demand authorities in your community to stop such barbaric methods to handle over-populationa and homelessness. And find a way to get the dogs spayed! It's not easy, but can be done.
People with homes, please apply to foster, (and return them when requested to the Rescue or officially adopt, not keep and ignore. It only hurts us, adopters, and the Rescue's Foster Program and degrades trust.

You better be referring to wolves, coyotes or hyenas when using this term because “wild dogs” don’t linger 20 ft away from you with their ribs sticking out, waiting for somebody to feed them.
Wild dogs don’t freeze to death when temperatures drop below -30 degrees Celsius
Wild dogs don’t eat each other’s vomit when they are starving to death.
Wild dogs don’t walk up to you with their tail between their legs hoping you won’t hurt them.
Wild dogs don’t freeze in fear, then allow you to put them in a crate.
Wild dogs don’t give you their trust after one night of coddling and food.
No no no….. wild dogs are elusive. They hide from humans, they hunt for food and they have natural instincts which provide them with the necessary tools needed to survive through harsh elements and natural disasters.
Stop calling abandoned / stray dogs who have turned (feral) “wild”
It’s an absolutely absurd statement when you think about it no?
The ignorance of people who should know better….
