is acronym for Toronto's (where we are) Pikatti (my first klee kai) and Zena (me). Just so happens Topaz is also my birth stone, making it the perfect name for my program.

With the happenings in USA, my cross-border event attendance and collaboration with breeders are expected to drop to almost non-existent. No shows means no new dogs, and no new dogs means no puppies.

As such, I’ve decided to discontinue TOPaZ’s membership to AKKAOA as of 2026. The TOPaZ breeding program will close until hopefully I find a new line to revive the program in the future, when the dust settles.

Meanwhile, I will continue to advocate for the breed and support the communicty as an individual.

Thanks everyone for your support over the past decade.
