🎀 🐴 Meet the Horses 🐴 🎀

Next let’s meet our fabulous Hottie! Aka. “Who’s Hot Now”

Hottie came to us after retiring from her track career and has now become a true jack-of-all-trades!
From English lessons, flat and small jumps, to the barrel/ pole bending arena, back to gentle beginner lessons. She’s done it all and gives you her all every time!

While Hottie clearly loves her job and working hard, she’s also just as wonderful out on a slow peaceful trail ride. Typically leading the way for others, un-phased by anything potentially scary around her instead just enjoying her views. 🍂☀️
Every ride is a good ride to Hottie and you just can’t beat that attitude 🤍

While there is tough competition among her friends, she may just be the MVP of the barn 🏆🌟

Favourite treat : carrots 🥕
Funniest quirk : constantly moving her ears one at a time to be as expressive as possible
Random fact : Hottie loves to watch other horses run poles, scroll to the last photo for the look I got when I dared to interrupt this 😂

🎀 🐴 Meet the Horses 🐴 🎀

Next up, miss Rooney! Aka. Peppy Slide Over
A very common barn favourite amongst the kiddos as for many she’s the first horse you’ll ride. Her calm and patient nature truly makes her one of the best to learn on and gain confidence with.
Whether you’re excited or anxious, brand new to riding or been around the block a few times, Rooney has something to teach all of us with a goofy personality you’re sure to fall in love with 💕💕

Rooney comes from a reining and performance background but has proven herself as a talented all round mare. From rail classes to the barrel pen, to calf sortings, she shows up ready to work while always having a good time doing so.

Favourite treat : peppermint 🍬
Funniest quirk : immediately yawns when you get down. And I mean Every. Single.Time 😅
Random fact : purchased at just 2 years old, she’s now (at 14), the longest reigning mare of the farm! And yes, pun intended 🤣

🎀 🐴 Meet the Horses 🐴 🎀

First up is our wonderful Poppy! Or you may know her as 🔥 This Popsocket’s On Fire 🔥 at all her shows
Not only has she became very accomplished in the barrel pen, she’s also one of our most trusted beginner lesson horses in western AND English.

Though she may be one of the smallest in the barn at only 14.1hh, she also has one of the biggest hearts 💜 She’ll happily work her butt off but her priority is always taking care of her rider, even if that means you have to work a little extra to find the “go” button at times 😅

Favourite treat : apples 🍎
Funniest quirk : her 24/7 droopy lip
Random fact : she has the best mane of everyone but loves to take out her braids and tangle it right up on horse show mornings 🤦‍♀️

Our Third Shoutout: Natalie Clement and Don’t Smile Lilah 💕

Natalie unfortunately had a mid season horse swap, but fortunately found some amazing horse power in a sweet mare with tons of talent. Lily and Natalie are a new team, but a great one!

Natalie went out and improved her run every single day, starting off at a 19, and running a 17.1 Sunday afternoon. Lily and Natalie won the 3D on Sunday.

Natalie works hard, rides hard and has a passion for the sport that inspires everyone around her!

The team is so lucky to have Natalie as a part of it, and we love to see her grow and succeed everyday.

Natalie, keep it pushing girl!! You killed this weekend.
