It’s been a week since we sad goodbye to the most incredible pony! Many of you know our gelding Duck. Known for his handsome looks, goofy personality (and name), or special bound he gave his people. Together with a lovely trainings pony named “Thunder” these boys traveled all the way to Quebec! A long trip with an incredible hauler sure made the transition smooth. Lots of special treats and lots of love was send with them. I m excited for Duck to have found an absolute incredible family that will take him to his next journey. I m beyond proud of who thunder has become over the past 2 months and will look up to him in the future. Thunder will enter the Hunter jumper ring and as a project. Someday he will find his forever family as well. With a heavy heart and lots of tears I always remind myself that these decisions are not easy but in the ponies best interests to get the best out of them! They are enjoying their top class mountain view and I will certainly post some updates as I understand many would love to continue to follow Duck who has been with us for 4 years. Shine bright boys - so proud of them!

We love seeing some of the ponies enjoying new fields! Yes our ponies life on grass and we often get asked how come they are so healthy? No founder, no metabolism issues, no asthma, proper weight. Here s the answer!
Grass isn’t the main issue of any of these health concerns it s how you manage it: when do you graze it plays a huge role in understanding the grass quality and types of grasses, sugar content, what time of the day and year are you grazing it etc. A proper rotation system is crucial as well. What a powerhouse this thoroughbred mare has been! I had the privilege to start her under saddle in the spring of 2025. With less than 50 rides under her belt, this rockstar got qualified for Nationals in endurance. Being loved by the club and with her outstanding results in her qualification rides, she got selected to be part of the 2026 Nationals Endurance event happening this upcoming weekend! Lisa and I will be heading to Prince Albert in SK on Thursday to compete in another 50 mile ride. Our team of 4 riders and horses have worked extremely hard to reach this goal and of course Lisa had to impress me just a touch more on our last conditioning ride... While she has mainly been ridden bitless in her nylon halter and impressed everyone by her abilities and connection (despite her hot and crazy energy at times) she just gave me even more. Our first bridleless ride was a huge success and I can’t wait to teach her more once we re back!

Please don’t try this at home. While we love to promote bridleless work, it has to be done properly with a lot of detail work behind scene for long term success and safety.

Our open house was a huge success! Thank you for everyone who came out. We were so excited to share all the new facility changes with you. The ponies were absolutely incredible at the brushing station, bouncy castle, and wagon rides. They blew people away by their calmness and connection. Of course people fell in absolute love with starlight as well who got to be the unicorn pony for the night! Lots of smiles and hugs with lovely memorable princess pictures were made for the kids! Due to confidentiality we re not able to share these cute pictures with you at this time so you get to enjoy Starlight taking a nap during brake and me being overly proud of him.

Did you know you can come ride this princess pony in our programs, or even set up your full princess birthday party!

Poor Tarzan had a rough week! Presented with a swollen cheek, fever, poor weight/ energy, and breathing issues. An extensive vet visit without answers brought us to an emergency call the next day. His minor dental issues are not the cause of his swollen cheek and we are “hoping” it is just facial trauma that will take time to heal and not present with further complications. In the meantime he certainly is enjoying the extra cuddles, and treats/ supplements. Stable at the moment. Let his journey continue with peace. 💚
