A heads up for Thursday June 11th!

🚧 Water Service Interruption Notice – Thursday, June 11, 2026

Please be advised that a water shut down will take place on Highway 7 in the Township of Asphodel-Norwood:

📍 Highway 7 – from the traffic lights to Pine Street
📅 Thursday, June 11, 2026
⏰ 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

This shut down is required to complete water service upgrades.
Affected residents and businesses are encouraged to prepare in advance by storing sufficient water for drinking and household use during this time.

We thank you for your patience and understanding while this important infrastructure work is completed.

FYI we have been notified that on Thursday June 4th our water will be shut off for the day due to the city construction.

The construction will limit our parking capacity and having no water will affect our ability to do some appointments.

We may need to refer you to Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic if we are unable to see your pet.

She was absolutely purrrrfect for her visit today and she approved our new cat room! 😻

The city has informed us that the construction will be blocking the right side of our driveway on Thursday May 28th. You can still park in front of the building or there is public parking along the back of the lot at Foodland.

Please call us when you arrive and our staff is ready to help direct you for your appointments.
