2026 Ontario Friesian Inspection 🇨🇦🐴

This year we had the opportunity to take Anouk A and Zeger to the Ontario Friesian Inspection, and we couldn’t be more proud of both horses and how they presented themselves.

Anouk A made a great impression in the morning, completing a strong IBOP driving test and finishing with an excellent 75 points. In the afternoon, she gave us another beautiful presentation in hand, where she earned a 3rd Premium. We are extremely proud of how she handled herself throughout the entire day.

Zeger, as a 3-year-old, also did a great job presenting himself. He showed a strong walk and a beautiful look, and we were very happy with what he showed us. Unfortunately, the atmosphere of the inspection overwhelmed him a little, and we weren’t able to show his strong trot to its full potential.

Overall, we are very proud of both horses and excited about their future. A big thank you to everyone who helped us get them ready and supported us along the way!

Just back from the Great Lakes Carriage Classic (GLCC), and what an amazing weekend it was! 🏆🐴

Anouk did absolutely fantastic, and I had an incredible time making so many new friends and memories.

It was a true honour to receive the “Heart of the GLCC Award,” presented by Stacy Huneke. On top of that, we finished 1st in Fault & Out and were named Reserve Champion of the Horse Division! 🏆

A huge thank you to the entire organizing team for putting together such a wonderful event. And a very special thank you to Karin Mc, Vicki Cork, Lisa K., and Ayshlen Hagen for all your help, advice, tips, and support throughout the weekend. It truly means a lot!

We are already looking forward to the next adventure. Next stop: Ontario Show Horse Classics! 🇨🇦🐴

✨ What an amazing weekend at the Ontario Friesian Horse Show! ✨

Anouk and Nick had such a wonderful time, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went. It was a beautifully organized show, and we are so grateful to everyone who made the weekend so special!

Anouk and Nick entered the ring as a pair and showed off some wonderful skills, power, and teamwork. It was truly a proud moment to watch them together! ❤️

Afterwards, Anouk had the honour of proudly carrying the Canadian flag around the ring 🇨🇦 — such a special moment that we will never forget!

We are incredibly proud of both horses and everything they showed us this weekend. We can’t wait to see Anouk back in the ring at GLCC! 🖤🐴

✨ A special milestone for Anouk! ✨

After a year of dedicated rehabilitation and treatment with horse osteopath Bronwyn Harrison M.OMSc, Anouk is finally back under saddle. This has been a long journey, and seeing her happily carrying a rider again is incredibly rewarding.

Recovery is never about rushing the process. It takes patience, consistency, and listening to what the horse needs every step of the way. We are grateful for the care and support that has helped Anouk reach this point.

Now that she’s back in work, our focus is on building her strength, improving her balance, and allowing her to continue developing at her own pace. Every ride is another step forward, and we’re excited for what the future holds.

Here’s to celebrating the small victories that make all the hard work worthwhile. ❤️🐴
