Some cakes carry a little extra weight on your heart while making them. Today, sweet Millie would have turned 10 years old. 🕊️💜

Millie lost her brave battle with cancer on September 9th, but the love she brought into her family's lives is everlasting. When a close family friend, and Millie's previous dog walker, reached out and asked me to create a cake to celebrate Millie's 10th birthday and honor the special soul she was, I poured my entire heart and soul into every single detail.

From the lavender-piped trim around the heart shaped cake to the custom biscuits stamped with "Always Loved, Never Forgotten," this cake was baked with so much love to celebrate a legacy of absolute devotion.

Happy heavenly 10th birthday, Millie. You are so loved and so deeply missed. 🐾✨

Thanks Kim for asking me to make my first posthumous cake (a word I had to look up 😆) and being the most thoughtful person to a grievinf family.

Last weekend, I whipped up a number eight cake for Cosmo, who hit the big 8!

Fast forward to this weekend, and I’m baking another cake for yet another Cosmo turning 8. What in the cake batter are the odds!?

Happy birthday, Cosmo! May your year be as sweet as your cake!

Cosmo rang in his 8th birthday yesterday, proving that eight is truly great! 🎂🥳

We took a whirl at crafting a number cake for the first time and, if we do say so, it turned out fabulously fantastic!

Comment eight is great, if you like this cake!
