Tessa's is an old pal of Solly, and for her first hike we started at the Brothers' Creek Trailhead and hiked the Ballantree loop., with Anukhet, Solly, Joseph, Molly, and Milo.

Tessa charmed everyone, including a passing cyclist, and three different walkers with groups of rowdy dogs.

An excellent first day!

Today we were joined by Chica, who has recently moved here from California. Chica hiked with Meisie, Luna, Finn, and HollyC.

She was a bit surprised by the exuberant welcome she got from five much bigger dogs, but once we were on our way she had a very good time.

Rey is actually a bit young to be out with the gang, but today she hiked with Anukhet, Joseph, and her Auntie Rua.

To be honest she's not entirely sure about that whole "back of the truck" thing, but she sure does like the trails!

Now, if she can get old enough to go off leash!
