🍂🧡 Happy Thanksgiving from our little Pommy family to yours! 🐾

This Thanksgiving, we have SO much to be thankful for, and at the top of that list is all of YOU! 🥹🧡

To our incredible ambassadors, both those who have been with us and the new faces who have just joined our little community, thank you for being such a special part of Pommy Creations. We are so grateful for the love, creativity, and support you bring to our brand. 🫶

To everyone who likes, comments, shares our posts, recommends us to a friend, or cheers us on from the sidelines — please know that none of it goes unnoticed. Every little bit of support means more than you know.

And to everyone who chooses to spend their hard-earned money supporting our small business, whether it’s a cute new accessory or a bag of treats for your furry best friend, THANK YOU. ❤️

We know there are so many places you could shop, and the fact that you choose to support our little Canadian business truly means the world to us.

Because of you, we get to keep creating, growing, and doing something we love. And that’s something we’ll never take for granted.

From the bottom of our hearts (and all the little paws behind Pommy Creations), thank you for being part of our journey. 🐾

Wishing you and your furry families a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love, good food, and maybe a few extra treats! 🦃🍁

With love and gratitude,

Alisha, Pummelo, Jellybean & Luna 🧡🐾

🧡 Today is personal for me.

I am Indigenous.

Like many Indigenous families, much of our connection to our culture and history was lost through generations. It wasn’t something really spoken about in our family, and there are pieces of our history and where we came from that we simply don’t know.

Growing up, my dad would take me to Indigenous events and help me experience the culture, teachings and traditions where he could. He was trying to give us a connection to a culture that our family had already become disconnected from.

That disconnection can be difficult to explain. When conversations turn to Nation, community, family connections or cultural teachings, there are questions I simply don’t know how to answer. So much wasn’t passed down, and generations later, there are still gaps in our story.

Those gaps are part of our story too.

For generations, Indigenous families experienced the devastating impacts of residential schools. Children were separated from their families, communities, languages and cultures. Many experienced horrific abuse and neglect, and far too many never returned home.

Those impacts didn’t end when the schools closed. Trauma has carried through generations alongside the loss of language, culture, traditions, family connections and knowledge.

Truth and Reconciliation is about listening to Survivors, learning our history, remembering the children who never came home and recognizing the impacts that remain today. For some of us, it’s also about continuing to learn and reconnect with pieces of a culture our families weren’t able to fully pass down.

Today I honour the children who never came home, Survivors, their families and the generations who continue to carry these impacts. 🧡

Every Child Matters.

Are you and your pet treat obsessed? 👀🍖

We’re adding some new faces to the Pommy Ambassador Community, and this time we’re especially looking for pets + humans who LOVE creating treat-focused content — think enrichment, creative bowls, taste tests, treat reviews, feeding content and fun reels. 🐶🐱✨

Already love pet accessories too? Even better! 💕 We’re not moving away from our bandanas & bows — we’re simply looking to add more treat-loving creators to our existing community.

Being a Pommy Ambassador is about more than posting a discount code. We want a community where we can share our pets, try new things, give input on future products, have some fun together and support each other along the way. 🫶
