My biggest worry when I brought Yeti home was how Skookum would adjust to having another male around. I was mentally prepared for a long journey to make it work.

To my surprise, Skookum loved him right away, and they’d play and play and play.

Skookum doesn’t play much anymore these days, but he still chooses to be close to Yeti. And that’s pretty special, especially considering his history with other males.

I’ve always enjoyed taking on the special cases, figuring them out and finding ways to make things work.
They all have different stories, different pasts and their own personalities.
I love how interesting the journey has been, getting to know each of them, building trust and watching them become a team.

Let’s see your dream teams 🥰

Happy 8th Birthday Kakisa! 🥰

You are such a special girl. You live for harness sports and running, and your drive and joy for life is just incredible.

You’re our bouncy, silly, sweet girl — unapologetically yourself and not at all interested in impressing anyone.

You’re an absolute joy and such an incredible dog. We love you so, so much. ❤️

Happy Birthday! 🎉

Mother & Daughter at the Dopamine Dash Dryland Race 2026 - Canicross!

I run the long competitive course with Yeti (we placed 4th) and our Junior Musher run the short course with North.

If we can do it, you can too! 🙌 Bring those kiddos out, get them involved, and help grow this sport!

Thank you Jessie with for coming out and taking incredible photos!

Mother & Daughter at the Dopamine Dash 2026 Dryland Race.

We run the girls in the 1 dog bikejoring race. I took on the long competitive course with Kakisa and our Junior Musher did the short course with North.

It was a really fun weekend with beautiful trails and great people.

Thank you so much Jessie Bluebird Photo for the amazing pictures.

Resharing because it’s still the case.
Movement gives you energy. Dogs give you energy.
There’s so many things we wouldn’t do if it wasn’t for them.
