🐴❤️ THE POWER OF HANDS ON A HORSE

Sometimes the most powerful moments in horsemanship have nothing to do with riding.

Sometimes, it's simply placing two hands on a horse and allowing the world to slow down.

🧠 The connection between touch and the nervous system is fascinating.

Our nervous system is constantly processing sensory information. The warmth of a horse, the gentle rhythm of its breathing, and the steady feeling beneath our hands can offer a calming, grounding experience.

Research suggests that gentle touch and positive sensory experiences may support relaxation and emotional regulation, although everyone's nervous system responds differently.

For someone whose body has been through an overwhelming experience, these quiet moments may offer an opportunity to feel more grounded, reconnect with their surroundings, and gradually find a sense of balance.

No pressure. No expectations. Just connection.

❤️ Sometimes it's not about what we ask a horse to do, but what a quiet moment beside one can offer.

Looking to sell your extra tack and supplies? Needing something new for yourself or your horse? Looking for an extra blanket or 3 for your horse before winter hits? Want more views on your horse trailer for sale?

Come join us October 17 & 18 for a tack sale inside our heated indoor arena!

Crafts, homemade goods and other vendors also welcome. First come, first served. $20 for a 12 x 12 area, bring your own tables/display. Limited spots with power available for an additional fee. Trailer/equipment parking in the yard, price depending on size.
