💙🐾 **DAY 491: IRIS IS STILL WAITING** 🐾💙

**Today’s Iris quality: PATIENCE**

Iris has been waiting at the **Battlefords Humane Society for 491 days.**

Yes. You read that right.

**491 days.**

She came into the shelter as a stray on April 22, 2025, and somehow this beautiful girl is still waiting for someone to see her, understand her, and choose her.

Iris is patient. She waits for her turn to go outside. She waits for the ball to be thrown. She waits for her people.

But we don't want her waiting anymore.

Iris is smart, energetic, affectionate with her people, house-trained, and absolutely obsessed with fetch. She has a big personality and plenty to say about when it's time to go outside, when it's time to come back in, and when someone has taken far too long to throw her ball. 🎾

Iris needs to be the **only pet in the home**, but for the right person, she could be an incredible companion.
