Sad situation

🚫🐟 Don’t let it loose.

Released aquarium fish, including goldfish, can become invasive and harm Alberta’s aquatic ecosystems. They compete with native fish, damage habitat and can affect water quality.

If you can’t keep your fish, return it to a pet store or find it a new home — but never release it into the wild.
