We’re sending our heartfelt thanks and well wishes to Dr. Maddy Russell as she begins and exciting new chapter with her family in the Ottawa area.

Maddy first joined McKee-Pownall Equine Services as an intern, and we were thrilled to welcome her to our veterinary team after completing her internship. She became a valued member of our Caledon team, providing compassionate, thoughtful care to the horses and clients under her care. Her dedication, kindness, and commitment to her clients have made a lasting impact, and she will be greatly missed by both our team and the many owners who entrusted their horses to her care.

While we’re certainly sad to see her go, we’re also incredibly excited for Maddy and her husband as they embark on this new adventure together. We know she’ll continue to make a difference wherever her veterinary career takes her.

Please join us in thanking Dr. Maddy for everything she has contributed to MPES and wishing her every success and happiness in this next chapter.

A heartfelt thank you to Zoetis for generously donating the vaccines and dewormer for our horses. Your support helps us provide the very best preventative care to the animals who call Fur-Ever Farm home.

A very special thank you to Dr. Kate for taking such wonderful care of our horses during their dentals and for administering their vaccines and dewormer. We are so grateful for your kindness, expertise, and the compassion you show our animals every step of the way.

We truly value the incredible relationship we’ve built together and look forward to many more years of working side by side to keep our horses healthy and happy.

Niah’s already rocking it! 💪

🎉👏 Welcome to the Team Niah! 👏🎉

Niah has joined our Caledon team as our summer student for 2026. Niah is in her 3rd year of study at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph where she is pursuing a focus in equine medicine 🙌💪

When she’s not studying, you can find Niah at the barn spending time with her horse, Chloe.

We are so excited to have Niah join our team and we look forward to a great summer of laughter and learning! 🐴💙
