Well, this is the post that makes it feel like summer is officially coming to an end. 😞

Sunday, September 27th will be the last day the pool is open for the season.

As always, I’ve absolutely loved watching everyone’s dogs splash, swim, play, and have the best time. I’m already counting down the days until spring!

But don’t worry, The Meadow is still open, and fall brings a whole different kind of beauty. The meadow is looking especially gorgeous right now, with all the beautiful fall flowers putting on their final show of the season.

So while we say goodbye to pool days for now, there’s still plenty of time for meadow adventures, happy dogs, and muddy paws.

Thank you to everyone who made this another wonderful pool season! ❤️

Good morning everyone, just a heads up the the bird bangers are out in the neighbouring fields. If your dog has any sensitivity to sounds this may be uncomfortable for them.
It’s a real bummer but should be done by the end of September. Sorry for the inconvenience, hoping they will be done soon. Celine

The long-awaited moment has arrived… drumroll, please 🥁

As of Monday, May 4, the pool is officially OPEN! 🎉🐾💦

Now, before everyone sprints in like it’s a tropical resort… a tiny reality check, it’s still chilly out there, and the pool is not heated. Translation? Your pup may come out looking less like a lifeguard and more like a slightly offended seal 🦭❄️

Please make sure your dog is cool (literally) with the temperature before sending them in for their Olympic debut.

Don’t worry though, summer is lurking just around the corner, ready to turn us all into heat complaining puddles. Until then, let’s embrace the splashy chaos, the zoomies, and the inevitable soggy dog smell.

Let’s make this the funnest season yet, and don’t forget to share your amazing (and possibly hilarious) pool pics! 📸🐕💙

As some of you may know, I lost my big boy at the beginning of December. It has been truly devastating. At just six years old, he passed away from cancer—something I still struggle to put into words. My dear and incredibly talented friend Virginia came and took photos of him before he passed. I haven’t stopped looking at them. They are so beautiful and such a precious keepsake.
In honour of my boy, The Meadow will be offering a free walk to all palliative dogs (f***ls must be up to date, please). I am also shamelessly plugging Virginia as a photographer, though you are welcome to bring your own. She walks quietly alongside you and captures truly amazing shots. Please reach out privately to The Meadow and the walking fee will be waived. I hope even one other person can benefit from creating such beautiful memories. ❤️
