Cora-Lee and I are excited to have been requested again to open up the forge, get the fire going again and demonstrate a typical day (actually 4 days) of the "smitty" in the circa 1800's blacksmith shop for the Ball's Falls Thanksgiving Festival October 9th-12th.
This is a huge event with a variety of shows and activities, over 150 vendors and exhibitors, a great family outing incredibly well run, incredible staff and volunteers and a lot of fun!
I'm hoping to bring my 1800's blacksmith cart for display and might do some forging demos out of that as well.
