Meet Bullet! Bullet is a 1 year old Bully Mix looking for his forever home at Niagara SPCA & Humane Society

Bullet is a super sweet, affectionate puppy who is full of personality and ready to find a family who can keep up with his puppy energy! He is very friendly and loves people, enjoying attention and always happy to be part of the action.

Like any young pup, Bullet is still learning his manners. He can be jumpy and mouthy when excited and may grab at the leash during walks. He enjoys getting out, exploring his surroundings, and staying active.

Bullet already knows his sit cue and is eager to learn more. He will do best with a family who understands that puppies need guidance, training, exercise, and plenty of appropriate outlets for their energy.

Bullet has made canine friends and appears to do well with other dogs, making him a fun potential playmate for the right dog.

Meet Diesel! Diesel is a 3 year old Shepherd looking for her forever home at Niagara SPCA & Humane Society

Diesel may look a little intimidating at first glance, but this girl is anything but! She is a super lovable dog who is really starting to come out of her shell and show her sweet personality. She is affectionate, enjoys being brushed, and absolutely loves attention from her people.

She is also a treat lover and takes treats very gently. When it comes to toys, she has a definite favourite-soft, squishy balls! Give her a few and she may try to carry two at once. She also has an adorable habit of carefully lining up her balls all nice and uniform. We have to admit, it's pretty impressive!

She is a good walker and is becoming more comfortable and playful. She would thrive as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.

Meet Pepper! A 4 year old Husky X at Niagara SPCA & Humane Society

Hi, I'm Pepper, a sweet Husky mix with a big heart and an A++ personality! That's what my shelter friends call me because I score fantastic points in my training classes. I'm a smart girl who loves learning and showing off everything I know!

I've also finished my heartworm treatment, and I'm feeling great and ready to start the next chapter of my life - finding my forever family.

I'm a wonderful companion for kids and would love a family who enjoys having a fun, affectionate dog around. I'm happiest when I can curl up on the couch or relax right beside my favorite person. But don't let my love of lounging fool you - I also have a playful side! Swimming and playing fetch are two of my absolute favorite things.

Because I'm not a fan of sharing my space with other dogs, I'd do best as the only dog in the home. And, as a Husky mix with a naturally high prey drive, I need a home without cats or other small animals.

If you're looking for a clever, loving girl who can go from training superstar to couch-cuddling expert in no time, I might just be your perfect match.

Meet Yoda! Yoda is a 1 year old Corgi/Poodle at Niagara SPCA & Humane Society

This adorable little scruffy guy is as sweet as they come and absolutely full of energy! Yoda loves meeting people and does wonderfully with other dogs when he's out and about. When it comes to home life, though, Yoda would much rather be your one and only pet.

We recommend a home without children, as Yoda prefers to pour all of his love and attention onto one special person. Once Yoda chooses you, get ready for a loyal little shadow-he'll be attached to your hip and showering you with love!

Meet Jewels - a 2 year old black mouth cur/ shepherd mix. Jewels is about to have her 1 year anniversary at the Niagara SPCA & Humane Society - and while we love her. She needs a forever home of her own 🩷

Jewels came in pregnant and with a rough start to her life. It took the shelter staff a lot of time to win her trust, but now her babies are weaned and adopted, and she's slowly testing the waters of looking for her own safe forever home. She's made friends with a lot of staff and volunteers, and once she trusts you, you're her friend forever.

She may not be the dog who runs up to every new person right away but the people who take the time to know her discover something really special - a gentle, intelligent, and incredibly loving girl who just wants to belong to someone.

Jewels is the kind of dog who will make you laugh playing by herself, happily tossing toys around and entertaining herself. She's adventurous, active and would make an amazing companion for someone who loves walks and having a best friend by their side. She loves to play in the paddle pool, fetch her ball, and generally clown around. After a day of adventures she turns into a total cuddle bug who would happily fall asleep beside you every night.

She also has the most incredible nose - if a treat is dropped, even in the snow, Jewels will find it. Nothing gets past her sniffer!

Jewels is comfortable around other dogs and has made canine friends at the shelter that he enjoys spending time with. If there are resident pets in the home, a meet and greet and gradual introductions are still recommended to help ensure a good match for everyone.

Jewels will need someone willing to take their time with her and do multiple meet and greets before taking her home - she is worth the effort 🩷

Guinness is a sweetheart with a gentle soul who is looking for a patient family willing to give him the time and space he needs to build confidence. He can be very shy at first and will need slow, positive introductions to help him feel comfortable in new situations.

Once Guinness starts to trust you, his true personality begins to shine through. His happy, wagging tail and willingness to take treats show that he is learning that people can be a wonderful part of his world. Meet Siren! Siren is a 6yr old husky X Available at Niagara SPCA & Humane Society (Niagara Falls)

Siren is an easygoing sweetheart who has a gentle, friendly personality and a heart full of love. She is wonderful with people, enjoys being around her humans, and is always happy to share her affectionate nature with everyone she meets.

Siren is a pleasure to walk, as she walks beautifully on leash and is happy to explore the world by your side. She also loves to play ball, making her a fun companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle with plenty of playtime and adventures.

This smart girl already knows her cues, including sit and come and is ready to continue learning with a family who will keep building on her skills.

Shelter life has been tough on Siren, and she can be very vocal while waiting in her kennel. Once she is outside in the pen or enjoying a walk, she settles and shows her true personality, a calm, loving, and easygoing sweetheart who just wants to spend time with her people.

Siren loves to play, but she can become overly excited around toys and may become jumpy and snappy during play. A home without small children would be the best fit for her, and she may also do best as the only dog or in a home without small dogs.

Kenneth is a 3 year old Bully available at Niagara SPCA & Humane Society

Kenneth is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves people and is happiest when he is soaking up attention. One of his favourite things is leaning in close for pets and affection, making it clear he enjoys being near his people. He already knows his cues "sit" and "down", giving him a great foundation to continue learning.

Kenneth can be enthusiastic at the start of his walks and may pull on the leash, but he settles nicely as the walk continues. He will thrive with a family willing to invest in training to help him develop polite leash manners and learn to take treats more gently.

Shelter life has been tough on Kenneth. Like many dogs, the busy environment has left him feeling frustrated, and he would truly benefit from the chance to decompress in a loving home where he can relax and settle into a routine.

Kenneth has shown interest in other dogs and appears to be social. He remained calm and uninterested when the other dog barked at him. As with any new canine friendship, a proper meet and greet with slow introductions is recommended to help set everyone up for success.

If you are looking for a loving companion who enjoys being close to his people and has lots of potential to shine, Kenneth is ready to meet you.
