🐾 It’s National Veterinary Technician Week! 💚

For our final Q&A, we asked our team: What’s something that made you smile this week? 🥹✨

From happy updates from clients and smooth recoveries in surgery to nervous pups finding their safe place, big career milestones, and patients who come looking for their favourite treats and snuggles 🐶🐱 — it’s the little moments (and the big ones!) that make what they do so special.

This week, we’re celebrating the compassion, dedication, and countless little acts of kindness our veterinary technicians bring to every patient, every day. 💚

A huge thank-you to our amazing vet tech team for everything you do to keep our patients happy, healthy, and loved! 🩺🐾

🔬🐾 What Is It Wednesday? 👀

Take a closer look! 🔍 Can you guess what this tiny critter is under the microscope? These little pests can cause some serious itch for our furry friends! 🐶🐱

👇 ANSWER: EAR MITE! 🦠

🐾 Did you know? Ear mites are tiny parasites that live in the ear canal and feed on debris and oils on the skin. They can cause intense itching, head shaking, redness, and a dark, coffee-ground-like discharge in your pet’s ears. Ear mites are especially common in cats and can spread between animals through close contact. The good news? They can be treated with the appropriate medication!

Did you guess correctly? Let us know in the comments! 💬
