Remembering my friend, Ruby ❤️
Ruby was a teeny weeny 6 month old babe when we first met. Ruby loved people, a truly loving little gentle sweetheart… but she had certain people in her life that were HER PEOPLE outside of her family and I got to be one of them. We had slumber parties and she even kept me company when I was pretty preggers (it feels like a billion years ago… slide to find the one of her licking me in the eye 😂😭🫶)
We’ve spent some holiday time together and many daycare days just hanging out. She was a true class act… puppy-like when she felt like being silly and a calm little old soul the rest of the time ✨
She crossed the rainbow bridge a bit early in this lifetime - diabetes and sight loss (cataract surgery was able to correct sudden blindness) took her through many ups and downs…. it wasn’t long after that I got the news that she was no longer suffering in her physical body 🌈
I’m always so grateful to get to know your fuzzy family creatures… they come in so many shapes, sizes, and personalities. As I always say, the worst part about having a pet (or in my case, knowing so many) is that they don’t live forever 🥹💞
