☀️ Summer heat can be dangerous for our furry friends! 🐾

As temperatures rise, remember that pets can overheat quickly. Help keep them safe by:
💧 Providing plenty of fresh, cool water
🌳 Keeping them in the shade or indoors during peak heat
🚶 Walking them early in the morning or later in the evening
🐾 Checking pavement with your hand before walks as it can burn sensitive paws
🚗 Never leaving pets in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes

Watch for signs of heat exhaustion, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse. If you notice these symptoms, move your pet to a cool area, offer water, and contact your veterinarian immediately.

Kiara was in for her blood and urine collection, and she showed us that a tasty treat can make all the difference! 🍽️✨

Using positive distractions like lickable treats helps many pets stay calm and comfortable during routine procedures. It creates a more positive experience while allowing our team to safely collect the samples needed to monitor their health.

Sundays are better with a cuddle! ❤️

Our Client Care Receptionist, Joanne, got to spend some quality time with the adorable Ronnie. While we're here to care for your pets, we're also lucky enough to enjoy moments like these that make every day a little brighter.

We hope you and your furry family have a relaxing Sunday! 🐶
