💃 Lice Lice Baby 🐾 Did you know? Cats and dogs can get lice too!

While lice are less common than fleas, they can still affect pets in British Columbia. Signs may include itching, scratching, a dull coat, hair loss, or visible nits (eggs) attached to the hair.

The good news? Pet lice are species-specific, meaning your dog's lice won't infest your cat, and pet lice don't live on people.

Sweet little Orion came in to see Dr. Ford for his puppy vaccines and wellness check! 🩺✨ He was brave, adorable, and left with lots of cuddles.
