🍂📸 Some memories are just extra special… ❤️🐴

A big thank you to the lovely Kate Tadic Photography, who Summer and I had the pleasure of taking out for a ride at Riverbank recently!

Kate grew up on Porter Road, swimming in the river and riding her bike to the Steel Farm and back. ❤️ This area has always been dear to her, so it was extra special to finally have her out to explore the property! Having ridden horses years ago, she was excited to get back in the saddle again… camera in hand! 📸🍂

What made this visit so special was having these moments captured between Summer and me. ❤️ We dreamed up the idea of Riverbank Trail Riding together, and here we are, just about wrapping up our second successful season side by side!

And of course, our horses Moo and Milo had to be part of these memories too! 🐴 These two are brother and sister, and grandchildren of my very first horse, Sasha. Their mom, Skyla, was one of the horses we shared with our riders during our first season last year, and she’s now back home with me.

There’s something pretty special about building a business with your daughter, surrounded by horses that are part of your family’s story. To have these moments captured so beautifully is something we’ll treasure for years to come. ❤️

🍂🐴 We’re down to our LAST COUPLE WEEKS of trail rides! 🍁

We have room for 3 more riders on Friday, October 30th for our half excursion starting at 12:30 PM!

We have just a handful of single-rider spots left before we wrap up our season on November 1st.

🍁 It really is such a beautiful time of year to be out on the trails! The fall colours, crisp air, and happy, fresh horses enjoying this time of year make for some pretty special rides. ❤️

Keep an eye on our social media in case any other spots open up due to cancellations!

🍂 Our weekends are officially FULL for the rest of the season! 🐴🍁

As we get ready to wrap up our riding season on November 1st, all of our Saturday and Sunday rides are now completely booked! ❤️

We do still have a few spots available on our last Fridays and Mondays of the season, so if you’ve been hoping to squeeze in one more fall ride, now’s your chance!

As another season comes to an end, we’re feeling especially grateful for both the wonderful people and the incredible horses who have been part of Riverbank Trail Riding this year. ❤️🐴 We’re so thankful for everyone who has come out to ride with us, and for all the horses, both owned and leased, who have shared the trails with us and made this season possible. We take so much pride in their care, happiness and well-being, and we’re lucky to have such a special group of horses and people be part of what we do. 🍁🤎

While our regular trail riding season wraps up on November 1st, that doesn’t mean we’re disappearing for the winter! ❄️ As our horses head back to their home base for the off-season, stay tuned because we have a few things up our sleeves to share with you over the winter months! 😉

We’ll look forward to welcoming everyone back when we reopen for trail riding on May 1st, 2027! 🌲🐎

The colours of fall really are my favourite… maybe tied with lupins 💜🍂 But fall without the flies, that fresh air, and all this beauty? Hard to beat!

Feeling so blessed to be able to do what I love and have the opportunity to share this beautiful, peaceful piece of land with such appreciative riders who come to join us from all over the world. The people we meet, the stories we hear, and the bond and passion they share for our horses mean more than they know. ❤️🐴 There’s just something special about the people who find their way here and the memories we get to create together.

We’re also so grateful for the wonderful group of horses we get to share this journey with, both our own and the ones who have been leased to us this year. We take so much pride in their care and well-being, keeping them happy, healthy, beautiful and just a little bit spoiled! They give so much to the people who come here, and they deserve nothing less. ❤️

As we soak up these last few beautiful rides and our season comes to a close, I can’t help but feel grateful. Almost two successful seasons under our belts, and we’re already looking forward to our third! 🍁

🐴 Our Riverbank horses are coming home soon! 🐴

As we get closer to the end of our trail season, we’re going to start casually looking over the next month for a few half leasers for the off-season.

Our horses will be home at their home base, just a short drive from Riverbank Trail Riding, and we’re looking for a few people who would love to spend time with them from November–May. ❤️

Grooming, giving them lots of love and attention, spending time together and getting some exercise — and of course, enjoying some riding too!

Experience is preferred, but minimal experience is welcome for the right person and the right horse. We’ll also have a coach available occasionally for lessons and support.

Mostly, we’re just hoping to find the perfect match for each horse and their off-season partner. 🥰
