🎇🎆🧡A friendly reminder!🧡🎆🎇

With Halloween being next weekend, we want to make sure all our furry friends are taken care of!

If your pet is nervous or anxious about fireworks and loud noises, make sure to give us a call in advance so we can make up oral sedation if your pet requires!

**please note we need to have an updated exam within the last year in order to dispense prescriptions**

We’ve set up a mini photo booth in our lobby complete with a creepy-cool backdrop and a cauldron full of fun costumes for your furry friends to borrow!

Next time you and your pet visit us, feel free to grab a costume, snap a picture in front of the backdrop, and join in on the fun!

🐾Our Surgery patient for today!🐾

Meet Charlie❤️

Charlie is our only surgical patient today, and she was a superstar! She is recovering very nicely in the clinic and is super comfortable in her mountain of cushions and blankets!

She has been spoiled all day with so much love and affection, and she is definitely loving the chin scratches. ❤️

Meet Mikey!❤️

He was our dental patient today and he did great!

His recovery this afternoon has been full of love, tons of attention, and cuddles! (And a pretty good snack)

Now his teeth are pretty, and clean just in time for Halloween!🎃

Did you know...

Veterinary food is often considered a prescription and can be an active and very effective method of treating various medical conditions?

Many pets are considered overweight which can lead to mobility and joint issues?

Diet can be the first stage of treatment for diabetes, pancreatitis, urinary issues and more?

Chase River Vet has our very own Nutrition Specialist! Nevada is one of a handful Veterinary Technologists in Canada with specialty training in Nutrition and she is now doing consultations for pets with special nutritional needs or concerns.

On October 20, she will be seeing patients and their people who need guidance with their diets. If you would like to book an appointment, please call us at 250.591.4050 or email [email protected]. Nevada would love to help get your pet on an effective diet that can help improve their quality of life!
