About Ben. Some people have asked about Ben - if he should have a friend, if he gets outside. And I’ll be honest, his winters are probably pretty boring. He has opportunities to go outside but he refuses. It’s not until it’s a good 10 degrees out before he decides it’s ok. And most days during the summer we do a yard walk. Mostly it’s me wandering around with Ben following but sometimes it’s the other way around. I’ve read up on it and it seems a bit challenging to introduce two separate pigs and have them like each other so we really haven’t gone down that road but I really think he’s content. He happily greets us in the morning and he gets hangry when it’s supper time. Ben loves his food and there’s nothing he likes better than napping in the straw outside. We think he has a pretty good life with us. ♥️
