Happy Veterinarian Appreciation Day!

Today we want to recognize and celebrate the incredible veterinarians who make our practice what it is.

Dr. Chad has dedicated years to serving producers and caring for their animals, carrying the demands of a busy large animal practice on his own. His knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to his clients are second to none. Whether it’s a routine herd visit, an emergency call in the middle of the night, or simply taking the time to answer questions, he goes above and beyond to ensure both animals and their owners receive the best care possible. His dedication to keeping clients happy, supported, and well cared for has built the strong relationships and trust that our practice is known for today.

We’re also excited to recognize Dr. Krysta, who recently joined our team. Although she’s new to the practice, she has already brought enthusiasm, compassion, and a strong commitment to animal care. We’re grateful to have her on board and look forward to seeing the positive impact she’ll continue to make for our clients and their animals.

🐄 CALVING SEASON READY? PVS is ready to give you a hand! 🐄

When things don’t go exactly as planned, having a clear game plan can make all the difference. This handy calving decision guide is designed to help you quickly assess what’s normal, what’s not, and when it’s time to step in.

Quick reminders:
• Stage 1 can take a few hours—be patient
• Once feet are out, expect progress within 30–60 minutes
• No progress or something off? Time to reassess

Keep this chart somewhere accessible in the barn or truck so you can refer to it when it matters most. Every calving is a little different, and early intervention can make a huge difference in outcomes for both cow and calf.
