Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Marjorie Ann Wheeler (nee McGrath) on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital with her family by her side.

Predeceased by her parents Francis and Frances (Reddy) McGrath; sister Stella St.Croix; brother Bren McGrath, brother-in-law Adrian St.Croix; sister-in-law Joan McGrath and her children’s father William Wheeler and good friend Fran Tavener.

Leaving to mourn with broken hearts and found memories her daughter Denise (Terry); son Chris (Erin); granddaughter Riley Ann; brother Tom McGrath. Close nephew and niece: A.J St.Croix (Corinne) and Marjorie Dawson (Darren); nephews and nieces Robert St.Croix (Patty), Frank St.Croix, (Susan), Robert McGrath (Rianne), Michael McGrath, Nancy Dillon (Chris) and Joanne McGrath; sister-in-law Patricia McGrath; close friends Ed and Carol Ann Murphey, "Marge was always captivated by Ed's story telling jokes", Theresa Rose and Debbie Meldrum; Sharon Reddy (cousin), Brenda Wheeler, Blair, Joanne, Sarah, Allyson and Clark Loveless, George Oakley, Tom and Glenice Robertson, Gloria Snow and Gerard Barry (Laurie) who always made Marge laugh. Also a number of other cousins and friends too numerous to mention.

Marjorie was born in St. John's, NL, on August 17th, 1941. Marge attended Saint Patrick’s school where she excelled at piano for which she won numerous awards. Her working career included Bowring Brothers, Golden Eagle and Ultramar, Marge also headed the St. John’s portion of Slimdown for many years and also found time to Volunteer at The Agnes Pratt Home. She was known for her generosity and her immense kindness towards others. She loved a good conversation and welcomed the company of friends and family and always put others before herself. She was devoted to her family and friends and was always there to provide love and unwavering support. Marge was also an avid reader and loved sharing her books with friends. She had a profound love for dogs (Kasa, Tanner, Lily and Marlo) and is now resting peacefully in heaven with puppy Largo and Daisy. Marge’s proudest accomplishment is being a grandmother to her granddaughter (Riley), whom she loved dearly and spoke so highly of even during her last days. Marge will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

We extend a heartful thanks to Dr. Farrell, and to the nurses and staff of 7 East at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. A special thank you to Doctor Joy Tilley (family physician) who truly cared for her. Also a special thanks to Brenda and Terry.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at Caul’s Chapel on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. Inurnment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marge’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Beatles Member Paul McCartney’s Connection To Tucson, Arizona Goes Beyond His Ranch That He Has Owned There Since 1979👩‍🌾🎵. Photos in Comments. McCartney’s first wife, Linda Eastman, used to attend the University of Arizona before they got married. Eastman was an animal rights activist and was even a musician in Paul’s band Wings. Three years after performing in Tucson with Wings, the couple returned to the city and purchased 151 acres of land near the Tanque Verde River in the foothills of the Rincon Mountains. The ranch now has corrals and stables, and a comfy ranch house. It also had a helicopter pad, and the property let Linda take care of her two Appaloosa horses, Spot and Blanket.

BOOTS HAPPY UPDATE: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=960981396147671 he’s going to live happily ever after ❤️🥳

UPDATE!! Boots has had an insane amount of interest from all over the world ❤️🥹 thank you so much! He has gone out on trial!

Boots just lost his person and only home he’s ever known. She’s sadly had to move into senior living and they won’t allow this polite gentleman to join. 💔 He is the sweeeetest, most loveable, best head bumper, cuddly boy! Boots is almost 10 years young, he’s neutered and he is MASSIVE. This photo doesn’t do it justice but he is a big chonky boi. Over 30 pounds - over our scales reading capability! He’s a dream cat and needs a new loving home ASAP. He was the only pet in the household so we are unsure how he is with others. If you’re interested in giving Boots a home please apply at the link below! It would mean a lot to him and his previous mom. 🩵
