Rule number one of cat grooming. Never groom without a hoody on. A cat latched on and shredded me through my hoody today and it would have been so much worse if I wasnt wearing two layers. This is why it fustrates me when people say grooming is expensive. This has already bruised. Ill likely need pain meds and antibiotics. And believe it or not I still mostly completed the groom. We didnt bother with his front half because it wasnt worth his stress levels re rising and harder to avoid another injury for myself just to get a prettier finnished lion cut.
So if you have a wonderful groomer you love. Give them a shout out and maybe tell them how much you appreciate them. You may not have a pet that would do this but your groomer is still taking bites and being attacked and still pushing through and getting the job done and then coming back the next day.
