The subject this week seems to be time! With a lot of our intakes they need TIME to settle in and figure out what just happened to the only thing they knew. It is because of your genorosity we are able to give them ALL just that. We want to say Thank You to all of our supporters for giving the gift of time. 💖

LOOK AT HER NOW! 🥹❤️

When 7-year-old Minnie first arrived at the shelter, she was absolutely terrified. Everything was unfamiliar, she didn’t know who she could trust, and she was so frightened that she would sometimes soil herself. 💔

Fast forward to today and… is this even the same girl?!

Now when Minnie sees her favourite humans coming, she chirps with excitement, wiggles her way over and promptly rolls onto her back because, obviously, there are belly rubs and scratches that need to happen! 😂❤️

THIS is why we give them TIME.

Sometimes the scared dog you meet on day one isn’t the dog they truly are. Sometimes they just need patience, kindness, consistency and enough time to realize they’re finally safe.

And Minnie? She figured it out. 🥹

Now this sweet, silly, belly-rub-loving girl is ready for the biggest step of all… finding her forever family. 🏡🐾

Minnie is 7 years young with so much love left to give. If you’re looking for a girl whose happy little chirps will make you smile and who will happily accept all the scratches you’re willing to give, Minnie would LOVE to meet you!

Meet Luna 💚🐾

Hi, I’m Luna, a beautiful 7-year-old girl with some pretty spectacular green eyes. 💚

Sometimes life changes in ways we don’t expect. My family loved me, but they had to make the difficult decision to surrender me when changes in our lives meant I was no longer happy or comfortable in my home. So now I’m here, hoping there’s a quieter chapter waiting for me.

I’m a very shy girl, and I’m not going to be the kitty who runs up and jumps into your arms the first time we meet. I need someone who understands that trust takes time. I’ll need a quiet home, a patient human and the freedom to settle in at my own pace.

For me to feel my happiest and most secure, I’m looking for a home where I can be your one and only pet, with no children. I think I’ve earned the right to be the centre of someone’s universe anyway. 😉💚

If you’re looking for a quiet companion and have a peaceful home where a shy girl can slowly learn that she is safe and loved, I might just be the one you’ve been waiting for.

I am currently on a fish diet and doing better then when I was eating chicken.

I’m spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, micro-chipped and ready to begin my next chapter. All I need is someone willing to give me the time I need to show them who I really am.

Meet Max II 💙💚

Hi, I’m Max II, and I’m about a year old. I hope you’re ready to fall in love, because apparently my one blue eye, one green eye and handsome coat aren’t enough—I also had to go and be one of the SWEETEST boys ever! 🥹

I came to the shelter as a terrified stray, unsure of where I was or who I could trust. It didn’t take long for the staff to realize that being scared wasn’t my only problem. I needed veterinary attention, and they discovered I had come dangerously close to a urinary blockage.

After lots of care and some very close monitoring, I started feeling better—and somewhere along the way, I became a bit of a staff favourite. ❤️ Once I realized I was safe, my sweet personality really began to shine.

Because of everything I’ve been through, I’m looking for a quiet, calm home where I can feel comfortable and keep my stress levels low. I don’t seem bothered by other cats, and the humans here think I could probably adjust to a calm, respectful dog friend pretty quickly too.

What I really want is someone who will give me a peaceful place to land, plenty of love and the security of knowing I never have to be that frightened stray again.

I have a very strict diet of Urinary wet and dry food to be sure I continue to stay healthy.

I’m neutered, started on my vaccination schedule, dewormed and microchipped. Now there’s just one thing missing…

My forever family. 🏡💙
